Clinical Trials

The Skin Health Institute has a proud history of participating in high quality clinical trials delivering alternative options to our patients. We have been at the forefront of many key clinical trials testing treatments that are now available on the PBS as standard therapy. Led by Associate Professor Peter Foley, Skin Health Institute has conducted research for over 30 years and has been involved in over 150 industry-sponsored and investigator-led clinical trials.

The clinical trials department offers people an alternative to standard therapy for a variety of inflammatory skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema and urticaria. We also conduct trials in skin cancer, onychomycosis, rosacea, acne and psoriatic arthritis.

We have a dedicated clinical trial unit on-site, with capabilities in conducting Phase II, III and IV clinical trials as well as registry studies.
